Intake Manifold removal

I have a 1992 F150 with 302/man trans. and I have to replace the lower intake manifold.

Looking at the job, my first reaction is how do I get to the rh side screws to remove the upper manifold? They seem to be tucked under the upper manifold and barely visible.

Any body familier with this procedure?

Thanks for any help!!!

bolts

yeah..most manifold bolts are a challenge. Have a swivle-head for your ratchet and an assortment of extensions handy. Have fun. --jim

upper intake manifold removel

You can remove the bolt with a T30 attachment. The manifold has a slot through the top that you can get to the bolt.
