Stuck Spark Plug

Stuck Spark Plug

I was helping a buddy change plugs and we got them all out except the one next to firewall on the passenger side , we broke the porcelain and rounded the head on the plug ,any ideas on how to get the plug out its a 4.6 liter 97 F-150 . we need help . do we have to take the head off? thanks guys.

Try using a very large easy-out removal tool where the porcelain used to be.

I just got htrough changing the plugs on my 97 f150 and I know that plug is a pain....

I agree - the easiest way is gonna be with an easy out...

But that is gonna be a doozy getting back there under the firewall!

If you wait long enough the engine might blow the plug out on its own.

If the porcelain broke flush with the top of the metal part you might try a nut extractor ?
