I tried Sea Foam FI cleaner - WOW!
Wonder how often people just think this kind of crap works just so they can justify wasting there cash placebo effect stirred up with greed.. I swore off putting **** in my engine. Only thing I will ever put in the crank case is clean oil. I still think techron works but only because so many people say it does. Cant really tell any difference. I pick up a case of it at costco once in awhile for less then 20 bucks and treat my vehicles. thats it.

Someone take his keys away ...

I'll admit I used it once when I was younger and dumber, but once reading how bad it is on here I'll never do it again.
Believe me, don't belueve, it won't change my mind. Cause the fact is is I had a rough idle with a studder before I used it and after I ran seafoam I didn't. I'm normally VERY skeptical of anything that says it'll runbetter aafter one use but this really did make a bigdifference. I'm not the only one to think so too. My ggirlfriend and my buddies that are around my truck a lot all commented on how much better it was idling.
I don't doubt that Seafoam works in older carb equipped vehicles. I have had success using it in those types of engines. I bought a motorcycle from my neighbor that would fall flat on its face anytime you tried to give it gas. After about 15 minutes of idling with Seafoam mixed fuel, I was riding it. My old Mercury 9.8 also benefitted from Seafoam. I have not seen any change with it in my truck. The first time I used redline, however, I actually had an improvement in mileage. Not much, but at least it was there. I was getting like 15-16 before treatment and I managed 18 the very first tank.

Idle is computer controlled and if it were bad enough to make that much of a difference, you would have had lean DTC's before hand. The programed software is flawless, - unless you have a leak or leaks.
So, sorry, -if it's running better, you accidentally fixed or changed something. That's just the facts bud.
You most likely had a vacuum leak in the hose you were messing with, - from the last time you attempted it.

Pay attention, that's not what this threads about, - First post.
What worked? Listen, they need people like you to purchase and market their overpriced kerosene. It can make a VERY BIG upon how you do it, - and I don't mean that in a good way. Keep it up, if you know better, I've explained exactly what it does many times over, - so has Labnerd. Just look it up.
No need for hostility my friend
I'm not saying it won't do any damage over several uses. I'm still fairly new to.messing with vehicles and won't claim anything I don't know. All I was saying is the one time I did itni had a better idle afterwards. I've read what yall have said and actually plan on using MMO.

I'll say again, since you seem to be humping the product. You diluted the product down to nothing. That's not how it was used in this thread and not what I'm referring to. So anyone reading this, -don't confuse this guys posts with the OP's. You can definitely harm internals and worst case, hydro-lock the engine.
Bmx, there's sites out there that push snake oils alike. But if you really want to know, you come here.
Be good to your engine.
