You can go to SEARS and purchase a TORX socket that will fit- I think it's a T25.

Why do you need to pull the intake to get the oil pump off?

A Ford mechanic told me that Snap-On has the specialty tool for big $$. But you can use a 1/4 inch drive torx head socket. Just tape the socket to a long extension so it won't fall off. But I am also wondering why this has anything to do with oil pump.

the torx sets are also sold at pep boys, o'riley's, autozone, etc. I dont use them very often so the quality is just fine. Great Western brand if i remember correctly.

if you have a really good pair of pliars, you can actually grab the outside of the screw/bolt and turn it. that's how i got mine of, but you have to grip the pliars good.

T40 TORX is the correct size you will need.
