iridium plugs

I just installed a set of Denso iridiums in my 97 4.6. The gap appeared to be a little tighter than what is recomended .052 to .055 i didnt gauge them but they appeared to be about .040 do you think they will be ok I havent test driven it yet but it idles smoother.

You won't have any problems. Actually, it's better, When I changed mine, I talked to Mike Troyer and he told me to gap them closer due to the humidity in the north east area. At lower RPM's it not a bid deal, but at higher RPM's it produces a stronger more consistant spark.
