Angry Sparkplugs.com

This is a copy of a complaint I sent to sparkplugs.com after being brushed off twice on the phone. I ordered plugs Feb 17 and still don't have them. They don't really CARE.

Monday March 1, 2004

Hello, my name is Jody Kirk. I paid for and have not yet recieved my order from sparkplugs.com. I have contacted UPS, Monarch, and Sparkplug customer sales. Apparently, my order has been shipped to the wrong address. I now have to wait 8 MORE days for UPS to complete an investigation, and another 5 days to recieve a replacement set. I will have waited one month for my sparkplugs. This is entirely too inconvenient for something as small as sparkplugs.
I realize this is not the fault of your company, but an error on the part of UPS. It happens all the time and I understand. However, the level of customer service at sparkplugs.com is horrible. For a replacement set of plugs to be shipped I would be billed another $63.96. I will not see the day I spend $127.92 for sparkplugs it takes a month to recieve. A replacement set should have been sent out that day, this is ridiculous. Needless to say I will never order anything else from sparkplugs.com, nor will I recommend them to anyone else. I will also be posting a copy of this e-mail on the F150online.com forums, because I feel that people who care about their vehicle need to buy from a company who cares about their customers.

That's the plug I use but I get mine at O'Reilly for $5.95 each. They don't even make me pay until I pick them up. Sorry for all your troubles. I agree that sparkplugs.com needs to work harder if they want to compete with the local auto parts store THAT HAS A LOWER PRICE.

Hi Shrike, I'm a manager at SparkPlugs.com. I greatly apologize for the bad experience you had and I'm even more sorry we didn't find your post until now. Customer Satisfaction is a main priority here, and your experience was unacceptable.

Please send me an e-mail at NSwanson@SparkPlugs.com so we can open up a dialog here, I've also tried to send you a pm.
I don't expect to ever gain you back as a customer, but we'd like to make it up to you. A gift certificate, free product, family night at the movies, let's talk!

Thanks!
Natasha

I would still contact her. I buy the marine plugs for my Mercury 225 EFI from them and have been satisfied with everything about them. Including the price of the plugs . They even give discounts to forum members on BBC
