Throttle Position Sensor

Hello,
Can anyone tell me what the symptoms would be for a failing TPS sensor? Thanks for your help.

Hymis; You could be experiencing a slight surge in drive while at a stand still, in park the engine could be hunting for the correct idle speed, the idle may shoot up from 600 rpm all of a sudden to
1500 rpm to 2K rpm, or the scarriest one of them all a sudden acceleration type of reaction driving or at park or in drive at a dead stop. If you had the throttle bodie cleaned recently & if it
was not done correctly this may contaminate the sensor & render it useless. To replace a tps is no job for a novice calibration of a
tps is critical to good overall vehicle opperation.
