ok so now I'm wondering...

I'm getting 11.5 city and 15 or so highway

is this really normal? I'm not that heavy on the gas pedal and I've just had it tuned (new plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, etc....)

any thoughts?

Thought's mmmm let's see oyea buy a GEO!!!!. If you think for a minute you are going to get some 20 miles to the gallon with the weight your truck is dream on. There may be some minor things you can do but you will never get "great mileage" ever.....

You can try a free'r flowing intake and exhaust and these will help a little. (Provided you stay off the skinny pedal) I personnally like K&N on the intake side and Flowmaster on the exhaust.

I get about 14.5 and thats 95% highway miles.

I havent done much city driving with it, but Id guess 11-12ish would be pretty close.

Yeah you can add exhaust and air intake, but some of that stuff isnt worth the cost if all you want is mileage.

I didn't mean to be mean here but with the size of your truck gas mileage is a concern with everyone. I think you could use a more open exhaust, K&N, air raid maybe even a chip. I have a reg cab flairside with a 4.6 and a 5 speed and get 19 at the most on the highway. I do wish you luck..
