Is it possible to add a larger capacity radiator? What is involved? I was thinking this would not only give me increased engine cooling but also better cooling for the transmission. I don't have an auxiliary trans cooler either and got to thinking it might be better to put the money for a cooler towards a better radiator. I don't pull a trailer but I'm not a big fan of small radiators.

 

I'm not 100% sure, but since you didn't get the towing package, you probable can fit a larger 2-row radiator in there. I would suggest measuring the thickness of your radiator and search on the web for a new thicker double row radiator.

Do a search on rads. It has been discussed in depth. You can get 1, 1.5 and 2 inch rads from Ford. Easy install.
