The last couple of days my engine has shaken violently when trying to acclereate up hill and at high speed.

The starts occuring at 1500 rpm.

I just recently traded out the fuel filter.

This is a 99 expedition with a 4.6

 

It could be fuel delivery, but it sounds like a misfire. Any check engine light ?? If so, take it to Autozone (except California) and have the code retrieved.
