hi everyone. been a guest on this site and I love it.Bought my F150 new in 2000 with 4.6.It now has 18,ooo miles and maybe once a month it blows blue smoke on start up. Doesnt have to be cold.Took it to the dealer several times but they cant see nothing wrong.I have a 93 Ranger that I drive everyday and it never done this.Its embarassing when neighbours drive GM and Dodge.Would any one have the same problem with their 4.6Any help here would be appreciated.Thanks.

 

generally when you see blue tinted exhaust it signals burning oil. maybe you have a small leak? check it out.
