Oxygen Sensors?

Recently my truck threw a CEL after some uncomfortable driving. It was bogging down at low RPMs and then finally started to jerk a little bit while cruising.

The codes I have are:

P0141
P0161

I've searched the board and these come up as O2 related. I have had numerous problems with the O2 sensors since I've bought this truck so I'm inclined to think that it's the problem.

However, I'd rather get some free input before I go spending cash on something that may not solve the problem.

Any advice?

The 2 codes you have are for the downstream o2 sensors (rear sensors),pertaining to the heater circuits. First check heater resistence. Ohm meter across both white wires at sensor. Should be between 3 & 30 ohms. With codes for both sides a voltage issue to heaters could be the cause. Check for voltage to heaters with key on . Wires opposite to white sensor wires in harness connector. 1 should have >10.5 volts (may be a red wire). Other wire should be grounded with key on.
