WD-40 has freezing temp of -50, lock oil and marvel get thick when temps drop

I'm a locksmith, and I can attest to seeing WD-40 destroying locks. Especially ones that are heavily used.

The best stuff I use is Locksaver or PoxyLube-200. Both are PTFE lubricant certified by many lock manufacturers for use in their locks at the factory, and even have MIL-SPEC qualifications for field use.
