I have a misfire on cylinder #3 after heli-coil job.

I need to take my truck in for smog cert to get it registered.

Should I even bother until I get this figured out? Or will the misfire have little effect on my smog test?

It's a 1998 4.6l F-150

Yep...when they go to access your computer as part of the test they will see the code for the misfire..until it's resolved you fail
