Chip Plug-in point on ECU

Hello!!

I have a JET chip (aka "over priced paper weight") that works loose from the plug-in point. Somebody told me it needs to be sanded down. anybody know anything about this. I know Troyers superchip plugs in there as well, so anybody know what to do??

Thanks,

The sanding down refers to the contacts on the ECU board in order to remove the protective coating on the terminals to insure good contact between the chip and the board. With Superchips, it is recommended that after plugging the chip in, a piece of tape be placed over the chip to hold it in position and prevent it from coming loose.

Duct Tape. If you want to get fancy, try velcro that you can release to remove the chip easily.
