Just got a coupon from my local Ford Dealer that said they would give me the "Full purchase price" that I paid for my truck in 1997 if I traided it in on a 2004.

Got all excited until I read the fine print. It stated that they would then subtract .10 - .55 per mile from that price. And then in smaller print " Trade in allowance not to exceed NADA value".

What a deal... Huh.

Yaeh, what a deal!!!! Not........ Anything to get you in the door. The dealers here have started this thing where you figure your own value through Kelly Blue Book online and that is your trade in value. Either way, they want a sale, so you can hold out till they come to the terms YOU want. Being prepared to walk away is the #1 rule. They will stop you at your car here and give you the world.
