I have a 2003 with the 5.4. Just had my first oil change and was looking at the bottom of the truck and it looks like that I could put on true dual exhaust. Am I seeing that correct and has anybody done it to there truck??????

 

Yes, it is possible. The problem is that you will loose your low end punch unless it is propperly tuned - not easily done with duel exhaust. Check out the exhaust forum for lots of options and opinions.

 

For a mostly stock 5.4L, dual 2.5" pipes can help across the engine speed range. Search the two exhaust forums for plenty of info.
