Engine Wont start

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe LS recently the engine wont start it tries to swing but only sounds like it's starting for a second then quits. I usually have to turn the key at least six or seven times to get it to try to start even then I get a sound like it's starting for only one second then it goes through the same routine I dont understand I drove it less than 2 weeks ago .

Can anyone help me.

If it is cranking over but not starting you may have a bad fuel pump, maybe a blown fuse.

Well its sounds like your fuel pump is failing or relay... each time you turn the key on do you here the pump in the tank? how much fuel is in the tank?
