#4 Coil on the 5.4

#4 Coil on the 5.4

On my 99 F-150 (5.4) I encountered the problem with the #4 coil being located under a heater house and having it get taken out every once in a blue moon. I recently traded in my truck for an 02 F-150 FX4 (5.4 also) Is this an issue that I will also encounter with this new truck?

5.4 coils

the new f-150 is much better, they worked the bugs out of the new style now. We had a lot of the coils misfiring at my dealer ship caused by the leaking hose. the older problems of cracking doors, leaking slider windows are fixed now, i also one a new 02
150 with the 4.6 and love it. If you get a chance you need to try one of the 04 150's with the new 300 hp 5.4 what a nice truck

i've got an '02 also, and the only problem i've had with the engine was a bad #6 coil around 24k miles. there was no reason for it (fluids, etc.), just went bad. dealer replaced it and plug no problem.
