Cool

It would help out if you posted some specifics about your truck. Engine, tranny, XL, XLT, Lariat, etc.

There is a ton of modifications you can do to those 5.0's. Here's my Stang if you want to have a look https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=3326

It all depends how much you want to spend on it. My combo on my 5.0 looks like this.......
306CID, balanced bottom end
E303 Cam
Fully rollerised valvetrain
Typhoon upper and lower Intake
24# FMS injectors
C&L 76MM MAF
Edelbrock 70MM TB & EGR
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads, 2.02 in, 1.6 ex
MSD ignition
BBK Equal length shorties
Single chamber Flowmasters
2.5 inch exhaust
3.73's in da rear

So what do you want to know?

Ok, i know that there are a lot of upgrades and such for the mustangs, but i didnt know if that all applied to a truck engine as well. I am basically looking for small and minor changes to get the truck a little more horse. Nothing huge or dramatic, just a good noticable difference, and to make it so that i can race others on the road, and do very well at holding my own.

Basically, what are some quick and easy things to do???

Before I get too carried away, probably the easiest and least expensive thing tou can do is to swap out your rear gears. This alone will give you greatly added acceleration AND towing ability.

well i thought about that, and im not too worried about towing. Right now, i want more acceleration, not too much, im not wanting to get more tickets. Plus i wanna be able to keep the tires on the ground. I need to know more about the E40D tranny. Mine is shifting hard and acting more like a heavy duty tranny than n e thing else. Plus, i am going to y-pipe the exhaust and run straight off the cats. So, that will help a little. But, i would like to go 4.11 gears maybe, and do some modification to the engine.

What gears are you running right now? You will like the gear swap by far the best bang for the buck mod you will do.
