New 04s, anyone got MPG data

Just wondering if anyone has a new 04 that they can report MPG. Please let us know the type of truck, 2wd or 4wd, and engine size. Just curious if the variable camshaft timing made a difference.

The engine is more efficient, but it moves 300-500 more pounds. All models come with at least 17" tires and many people are choosing 18" and 3.73 gears. Check out the 2004 Forum as there are a lot of threads already talking about fuel mileage. In short, anywhere from 11.5mpg to 17mpg combined, or similar to the previous models.

I have a 04, F150, 5.4, 4wd that I got a week ago. Made my second trip to the pump and calculated my milage at 16 mpg. Driving is done mostly in rural area's.
