Talking supercharger?

i have a 2001 ford supercrew and i was wondering if it was possible to take a harley davidson supercharger or lighting supercharger and put it on top of my triton 5.4 and reprogram the computer. i realize that i would have to do some beefing up of the transmission and rearend but im goign for the lightning look. However im not sure of what all it would involve and just hoping for some info on the subject.

Welcome to the boards!

This is a very common question. You can find all the answers in the superchargers section of this board.

It can and has been done but I think that you will see that unless you plan on going all out (shelling out some serious dough to do a complete swap) it's more cost effective to go with an aftermarket supercharger. They are designed to fit the engine as it sits.

Check out the superchargers section. There is a ton of good information and a bunch of good people interested in the pursiut of MORE POWER!

Good luck!
