Has anyone experienced an occasional problem starting their 5.4.
I have an '02 f-150 and sometimes when I try to start it, the engine turns over but doesn't sound like it is getting fire. I try until it starts, last time it took about 15 attempts.
Then it may go 2 weeks before repeating problem.

Thought it might be plugs,wires, fuel injector???

Want to get feedback before I start replacing things.

I ran into the same problem with my 03 5.4. It's probably happened 4 or 5 times. It doesn't seem to matter if the engine is hot or cold, wet or dry. It hasn't happened in a couple of months so I kind of forgot about it.
Sorry I can't give you solutions, but I figured I'd let your know your not alone. I'll be watching the posts closely to see what people come up with.
