Honda Accord Question sorry

Sorry guys but i went to the honda forum and nobody is responding. engine maintenance light. how do you turn it off? with out takingthe car to the dealer? just want it off, I know its time to get it tuned up and tire rotated for $550 Hello! car is fine.
please any ideas? 98 honda accord ex 4 cylinder v-tec engine

Go to autozone and get the code pulled.

The light is on for a reason...

If your 98 is like my 01 you reset the maintenance required indicator, by,
1. Turn off engine.
2. Press and hold the select/reset button in the instrument panel, then turn the ignition switch ON (II).
3. Hold the buttons for about ten seconds, until the indicator resets.
