160#? Is this guy on crack or what? I have never heard of such a thing.

I agree it sounds like the guy is on crack, you have to have a really modified engine to use those like, bigger fuel pump big engine programmed puter etc..... I'd say stick with the good ol 19/lb and hour

I forget the exact amount of HP that Mike said 42# would take you to, I think it is somewhere around 500 HP.

Maybe if you are putting dual turbo's on it like Chirs Chow's TT GN, you need something like that

Isnt the pressure pretty much dependant on the fuel pump? I mean ,if your injectors and pump are designed around a 14# or whatever the stock is....and you put a 160# in there....won't the fuel just kind drip and dribble out in a non atomized fashion??

Yes, if you upgrade the air and fuel system and the associated programming, then yes you need to upgrade the fuel delivery ( fuel pumps, rail, etc ).

Else you will get starvation, when the injectors are trying to run a constant 80% duty cycle, it would work for about 1.8 seconds, and then die off.
