Cold Air Induction
I am going to put a cold air induction on my '98 F150 4.6L, but there are several brands out there. Anyone have any recommendations or experiences with any of them? Also, what about spark plugs/ plug wires- any recommendations or good/bad experiences with any particular brands? Thanks for the help.
As far as cold air intakes go, the choice is many. From $50.00 on Ebay up to about $250.00. I would recomend one with a quality filter like K&N or one that is at least reserviceable. There is a great wealth of info on this board, just do some searching, and you'll be able to make an informed decision about any mod you're interested in.
Mac Performance Cold Air Induction It's Cheaper than most of the others (K&N, Airaid, etc.) It's polished chrome UNLIKE most of the others, and it's a breeze to install.
Good Luck,
BTW be prepared to save about $100 when comparing to the other CAI's....and yes it comes with a K&N type filter.

Just buy a cheap one off ebay, and put a good K&N filter on it. Does the same thing as a "Air Force 1"
intake
I just purchased one through Summit racing. The complete unit was 75 bux new with rechargable filter. I haven't received it yet but can't wait to see what improvement, if any at all this will give me.
