swap 5.4l to a ford lighting engine?

is there any way you can do that? my truck is a 1998 f250 light duty same body style as a f150, 5.4. I heard those engines were pretty awsome. I was just wondering if there was any chance u could put a lighting engine in my truck i have a triton 5.4 in it.

please reply if you know anything about this
thanks

Pretty hard to find a good Lightning engine. $$$$$

Why not look at one of the aftermarket superchargers. They are all very good.

Sounds like Troyer Performance might be a good place to start.

Also, there is a section of the board here dedicated to superchargers.

There are tons of superchargers available for the 4.6 and 5.4. Vortech, powerdyne, paxton, and procharger to name a few. It will cost you much less money and time to go this route as opposed to swaping out the whole engine IMHO.

Not too mention its a different tranny as well I believe. 4R100 versus a 4r70.
