why?

why are you selling it i have a 98 and i love it. with the 4.6.
try www.nadaguides.com and kelly blue book, compare prices and add 1-2 thousand for starts, done this for years sold over 25 vehicles, i'm not a dealer. call your bank ask them if they would give a loan for that much. let me know how you do. (did).

Re: selling truck

You may have a little trouble getting the price you want for the truck.

I tried to sell my '98 F150 this summer. It has the 4.6 motor, extended cab, 4x4 with a 5 speed and a Leer cap. Only 45,000 miles and in great shape. Was asking around $11,000 - $11,500

Nobody wanted a 5 speed manual. That was the main problem. Everyone said the truck was in great shape but they were really looking for an automatic. One guy said he'd offer $10,000.

So I kept the truck. Another problem is that there are a lot of used vehicles at the dealers too

Good luck.
