Question supercharger conversion requirements

I've just recently purchased a Harley ed. supercharger, and I'm curious if anyone out there has any tips on the install. It comes complete with intake, intercooler, fuel rails, injectors, throttle body, coil packs, wiring harness and all sensors. I've been told I'll need the Harley drive pulley, and fuel pump. As well as a water pump spacer, or electric fan. I'm unsure if I will need additional parts as well. So any helpful tips or advice in the right direction to go about this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have the answers your looking for, but I think that if you take a look in the supercharger section of the boards you will find the information you need. I don't recall seeing a lot of people doing the Harley conversion but the Lightning conversion has been done. The install should be the same.

Some things to consider are the fact that the Harley and Lightning engines are built stronger to handle the boost and added power. The transmissions are also beefed up. From what I've seen you will need to address these issues to keep all parts functioning properly, and to keep them intact.

Check out the supercharger section. It's informative and fun.

Good luck, and welcome to the boards!
