Ok guys I got the codes to flash on my '86 F150 302 V8 EFI, I got two codes 31 and 51, the injectors are dumping way to much fuel... so I think thats the ECT sensor, but my book says 51 can also be Air charge temperature sensor... just curious but where is this air temperature sensor...? and how would I test both the air temp sensor and the Coolant temp sensor..? As for the 31 code, Ill recheck the connection @ the EGR valve...Thanks guys for any help

 

ok guys I tested the ECT and Im not getting any ohm reading so I think its bad, replacing it today.... I also checked the EGR connection and everything was tight, so any ideas on whats causing the error 31 code? Thanks guys

 

Air Intake temperature sensor is located on top of manifold, front, drivers side I believe code 31 is Throttle position sensor

 

Well troublecodes.net says 31 is EGR Valve Position/Pressure Feedback EGR Circuit Below Minimum Voltage, also my chiltons book says its the EGR position sensor... I guess Ill check the voltage at it...
