I don't think you will get any HP gains from just the hood but you can always get a CAI (Cold Air Induction) Kit from Mac Products for a good price and get probably 10-15 HP!

As far as the Hood I would go with Cervini's....they make the best quality hoods for Mustangs. They make a very nice Ram Air Hood for the F150 as well. If your intrested Click Here for the Adobe Catalog for the Cervini Products.

Good Luck!

thanks

That sounds good. I have already bought the hood and imjust waiting to get home to install it, im currently on my way back from the war in iraq. I got the hood from ABC exclusive, SS150. What do you think about these hoods...it comes with an adapter for the intake...so should i see about 10-15 HP with everything installed? obviously not at low speeds but for highway driving i was hoping to see a little performance boost on top of the cool custom look.

Post some pictures when you get a chance of the hood. What do you think about the hood..Good Quality? Fair Price?

I've never heard of ABC Exclusive....course I'm not the all knowing of hood manufactures either. If the price was right and the quality is good I might be interested in picking up one of those hoods myself!

Thanks for the link!

I wasn't impressed with any of their hoods from what I could see in the pictures. Not saying they are a bad product just not for me!

Good luck with it and post some pics once you get it installed and painted. I would be interested in seeing some better pics than that on the website.

Cool cobra style hood

Just to let you know, that adapter is nice and all, butttt you need to get a air intake! An aftermarket intake has bigger tubing and such, so it will allow more air in, your stock one sucks! Any cheap one off ebay will work, mine only cost $63 shipped, and does the same performance as a AF1, Airraid, K&N, ect...
