Rev limiter
What is the rev limiter on the 5.4? I have a 02 and was reving pretty good the other day while I was mudding. The truck also does not show a red line on the tach. What is safe since I am new to the 5.4?

no worries on the rev limiter the PCM will take care of it for you so rev her as much as you like!
I think with the 5.4 she will start to hesitate above 5k rpm I am not sure what the exact number is but I am sure someone will chime in soon that does know it!

The rev limiter is set around 5k. You probably won't start feeling it kick in until around 5100-5200. You'll know when you hit it. I've practically had my truck completely shut down before, because I hit it so bad.
