Anyone using underdrive pulleys from Troyer Performance? I am getting ready to get my fans and wanted to see if anyone has had good results from them or if it's worth the extra money? I know the L guys do it but does it make an impact on a heavy SCrew?

 

I'm running them on my '01 'Screw. Work great, other than a little light dimming at idle in gear and a little tougher power steering when idling in gear.

If you rev past 800 RPMs or so, the lights don't dim and the steering is fine.

These are the results for my truck, yours may vary.

BTW, I haven't had a problem with the truck using the pulleys - just the "quirks" listed above.

Definite improvement in engine throttle response.
