power pulleys

Can power pulleys hurt an engine? Has anyone had pulleys on their truck for a long period of time without and alternator or cooling problems? Has anyone experienced problems caused by power pulleys?

And the difference is...

I'm familiar with the underdrive pulleys and what they are used for. What is the difference between them and the power pulleys?

I'm thinking of adding the underdrive pulleys along with electric fans to my truck.

As always...any advice is always greatly appreciated.

HI!... POWER PULLEYS and UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS are the same thing. POWER PULLEYS is just a "SLANG" for underdrive pulleys.
