exhuast smoke

Unhappy exhuast smoke

I have a 98 f 150 lariet and my engine has 110k. a couple of days ago my truck just started smoking like "uncle bobs " car. i need to know what is going on. maintence is always on time so i need to know what could be the problem. no starting hesitation, no loss of power, no engine leaks, i just dont know what is going on. any help will be appriciated thanks

what color is the smoke. Blueish hue= oil. Black is too rich( fuel) White is coolant.

i think the smoke is white, what could be the problem. i need to know what i could do to fix it. do i need a new engine?

White smoke can be the sign of a blown head gasket or worse case - cracked head. Have it towed to a mechanic for diagnosis - they will probably need to pull the heads. Don't try to run the engine until you get this fixed.

Thanks alot i put a head gasket sealer and it stop smoking but my plans are to put some trick flow heads. does anybody know about some high performance heads
