Very nice Neal!

Which model are those heads...or did you take your old ones in for a revamp?

Any stats on what you'll expect out of 'em? (besides fassst?)

Cool

HI!... Yes the spark plug holes were "BEEFED" up. They were drilled out and a titanium 12 threaded insert was pressed in. Not a heli-coil. They are "03" P.I heads. Well with the CROWER stage 2 cams, I was quoted up to 80H.P (flywheel) increase.

That is way cool. How much are you investing in the head/cam job?

Fox Lake does good work. Do you have flow numbers for those suckers? As something of a superflow junkie, I'd be curious.

HI!... jstang : Yes MIKE T and I already discussed those roller followers before they came out to the public. They are made by SECOND STREET SPEED. They gained 40H.P on a 4.6 4-valve but it was WAY up in the RPM range. For $3500(U.S) for the 4-valve set up and $1750(U.S) for the two valve set up, that's a little steep for me so I can gain about 15H.P on a 5.4 2-valve. I'll wait till they come WAY down in price like $400-$500(U.S).

Not too cost effective. I didn't know they cost that much. The company may consider mass production and lowering the cost, or they will be out of business.

Question good head (s) Neal HP Freak

Neal,

I have been following your posts for as long as I been on here.

As you might know I now have a Super crew 4x4 with the 5.4. I know you have torn a 5.4 down and have done alot to yours for performance. My question is .........have any of your buddys with 5.4 v8s have a plug launch out? My truck runs wonder full with pleny of power and stuff but with 47,000 miles I am wondering if I should change the plugs. If I do I want to use Motorcraft OEM plugs. BUT should I use the antisize and torque them to 11ft lbs??? I get too upset at the chance of a mis installed plug. I planned to keep this truck for a long long time.

thanks Neal and let me know what ya think.

PS what are your latest times at the track? Have you broke 14.0 et yet?

I'm not Neal, but from what I've heard, I think most people are having better luck NOT torquing to specs, but rather tightening down the plugs by hand until they are hand tight, then turning them 1/4 or so more with the wrench. Also, I heard that Anti-seize can actually lubricate the threads to the point where the plugs back out enough to launch one.
