MAF sensor location

MAF sensor location

I have a 2001 4.6 f-150 4x4. I looked in the air intake tube and there is just 2 little sensors where is the MAF sensor????

It's the sensor with the two thin wires, parallel to each other, inside the intake tube.

The sensor with the two thin wires inside the intake tube is the IAT (intake air temp) sensor. the mass air flow sensor is inside your airbox the end that the intake tube hooks too. You will have to take your airbox out, remove the filter, remove the air filter mounting plate and look inside to see the mass air flow sensor. it will have a connector with four wires running into it.

How do I remove the above discussed MAF from the large plastic housinf on my 97 Expo---please respond to me soon?
