92 Inline 6 fuel pump acting up

it is a 92 f150 and has the I6 it has duel tanks and yesterday it started acting up like i got water in the gas...in the rear tank(the one i use normally bc my front tank leaks)so i switched over to the front tank i filled the rear tank up and have put 3 bottles of drygas in so far and it wont clear it up...

the truck idles as smoothe as can be when on the rear tank but the minute i even lightly touch the gas it coughs spits sneezes and swears at me,oh and it bogs down too!i switch back to the front tank and it is as good as can be again even under load...so i think my fuel pump is on its way out ...

i considered the possibility that the fuel filter is plugged but the fuel from both tanks go thru the same filter so it should act up on both tanks which it doesnt

i dont know how to check if i have a plugged line

help?!

i doubt you have plugged lines. unless someone did something to your rig. sounds like pump. once you have it out to replace it. you can check the lines. and look down in the tank, not much to go wrong. good luck.
