anyone know anything about timing on a 1987 mazda b2000??

my brother changed the water pump on our mazda pickup. to make a long story short somehow he got the timing all goofed up, he took the camshaft pulley off of the cam, so now i know that i need to line up the mark on the crank w/ the mark on the block, and the A mark on the cam pulley, but.... since the pulley has been moved how do i know where to put it? i've got three ways the pulley can go on the cam shaft. any help would be appreciated. thanks guys!

I have an '87 Chilton Manual here.

It says:
Align the "A" with the notch in the top of the front cover housing.
The crank pully has a notch that aligns with a triangle in the front cover.

Basically both keyways need to be straight up for the engine to be in time.

If you have a fax # I can send you the instructions. Won't be 'till Monday though.

i know that i need to line the notch up on the crank, and the A mark on the cam pulley. But..... the cam pulley has been removed. so i have no clue where it's supposed to be. it can mount on there three different ways. i'm wondering what mark, A, B or CX the little **** on the camshaft needs to be lined up with. thanks.
