1990 5.0 Ho

Ok I got a 1990 302 HO for my 64 Falcon, my question is have any of you ever installed a fuel injected engine in an early model car? Would like to keep it fuel injected if I can but not sure on where to start. Do I have to use the computer from the car it came out of or are there any companies that make something like an adapter for all the electrical stuff?
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Check Summit Racing, if I remember right they offer a wiring harness set up for universal use. I don't remember if they offer a computer or not.

Good luck

The cheap way would be to get a computer, wiring harness and MAF from an 1989-93 5.0 mustang. That stuff is easily available on ebay. You'll probably need to go with a electric fuel pump also.

A cleaner but more expensive way is painless wiring

I think edlebrock and/or Holley sells an EFI kit also.
