Angry F-150 died while driving

OK, need some help from the experts here. I've got a new 2003 F-150 XLT, 5.4L, auto, with less than 3K miles on it. Today, while driving home from just across town and traveling about 50 mph, the engine died. The electrical power was still kicking as the dashlights were all on but the engine just died. I coasted to a stop on the side of the road and tried to crank it back up but it just turned and sounded like it was flooded. I let it set for about 30 seconds and then it started right back up. It initially felt kind of sluggish but then was fine after that for the short drive home. Only mods I've installed are a Superchip, Airforce One air intake and Flowmaster muffler. Any thoughts on why this would happen would be appreciated. This has only happened once so far but I want to correct it before it happens again. Thanks!

I have simular mods on my 99 Lariat. This has happened to me once about two years ago @ 39K. I had the dealer check the computer (after I removed the Superchip) and there were no codes stored. My dealer is an SVT dealership and the mechanic that was working with me was their performance geru. He gave me the line that he had seen this happen with Superchipped vehicles (he liked another chip). He told me to track how often it happened, road conditions, and to get back to him when it happened again. He also said to remove the chip to get it re-started quicker.

I have had no problems with it stalling again so I have not had to follow his recomendations.

"Stock sucks, but at least it works."
