Brand new to the site as of today. I will be attempting to change out a EFI 5.0 to a carbed 4.9. Besides the obvious needed changes, frame mounts and exhaust as well as taking the fuelpump out of the tank and changing out the computer is there anything I more I need to do? The truck is an '86 and the engine is out of an '85.

 

You might want to try the Pre-97 forum a little further down on the main page. You won't get many responses in this section as it's more about the modular engines.
