Question Supercharger

I own a 1999 4.2L F-150 and was interested in purchasing a supercharger from a 2001 Lightning and was wondering if they are compatible, or if I should just leave it alone. Anyone that knows the answer to my problem shoot me an e-mail. thanks.

I've looked into it before for my truck " F-150 Sup. Crew 5.4L" and I must say that all of my research has lead me to go aftermarket instead of creating a Lightning motor. Switching everthing over is the biggest headache, everything from the wiring harness to computer to tranny, and blower, I mean everything. Your best bet is to go Aftermarket. You may find a blower off a L for 1500-2000, but you will need everthing else as well and that could possible go over 3500. And for that price you can buy a blower without the headache of switching everthing over.

I agree... Your best bet is to work with what you've got or else sell it and put the money (along with your cash for the supercharger) down on a new L. Check out the superchargers forum for more info on supercharging the motor you've already got.
