Help With Idle
Hey Guys-
I have had a little morning sickness twice this week:
I have the following:
2000 F-150 5.4 2w
The truck started but would not hold idle and stall. I immediately thought of vacuum leak since I modified the intake. I found the hose that goes from the top of the intake to the right side of the engine compartment - a circular switch I guess. I shook the hose with the engine barely running then I heard a vaccum whoosh noise and the truck ran fine for 4 days. This morning it happened again with the same result.
The hose has markings on it "GAS/FUEL ABG".
What is this thing and how do I test it? Or any other ideas?
Thanks!
