Question Sluggish Acceleration

Help, I have a '97 F150 extended Cab,v8 4.6 with 130,000 miles
about 2months ago I replaced all the plugs and wires, also the PCV, I put new tires on the truck, they were'nt the standard size of p235p70 they were p260r70 series, I've noticed afterwards that the acceleration was sluggish and the gas mileage was below normal. I expected to see the acceleration and MPG be better not worse. Is there anything I can do, did I miss something?

Thanks for the feedback

More weight to get rolling and a taller profile for wind resistant = a hit on your gas mileage. If you want your mileage back, go back to the standard size tires.
