Installed AF1 now wont idle

I just installed an AF1 FIPK today, and now my truck wont idle. When I start the engine the engine cuts off right when the engine starts. If I depress the accelerator when I am starting the engine the engine will idle, but as soon as I let off, the engine will cut off. Any help? I have a 1998 4.6l with 70,000 miles.

It sounds like a vacuum leak. Check the hoses again to make sure nothing cracked.

Is it possible the tube is pushed in too far, and covering the hole?
Sometimes it's a bit tricky to get it lined up just right.

Check for leaks as mentioned above and also reset the computer by disconnecting the battery and letting it sit for a short while. I did not reset the computer after I installed my AF1 and the idle was very rough at first. Once I reset everything, it ran just fine. The AF1 is a great kit...I've had mine for a year and a half and have had no problems of any kind. Good luck!!

I had the same problem, after I knocked a hose off coming from the intake. There were 2 hoses, and the left one (if i remember right) came off. The truck wouldn't run with the tube off, unless I held the gas pedal.
