V-10 no-start
It is easy to determine if the IAC is sticking.
When it won't idle, give the IAC a few good raps.
If it idles after you do that, then the IAC needs to be cleaned/replaced.
If it still doesn't idle...
then you need to beat the hell out of something else.
I only got two tools in my toolbox.

Well, I guess you could do that if it stayed running or you put a brick on the gas pedal.
My test was for when the truck won't idle at all.
But I have no problem with adding a brick to my tool collection. It would be a very useful weapo...errrr.....tool.
