coil packs and plugs

i was wondering if anybody's found any good aftermarket coil packs and plugs?i might be adding a supercharger soon and i want somethin that'll give it enough spark,i've tried the bosch +4's (they were the only platinum plugs the store had 8 of) and they've only lasted about 30,000 miles, and i'd rather not have to change the plugs every 30 k,thanks

You say they only lasted 30k miles. They're platinum, so I'm pretty sure they didn't corode during that time. What happened? Did they crack? Did the gap extend too far?

I have them in my truck, so I'd like to know if I need to check them.

Hi Psycho,

Yes, if you'll take a look over on our web site at www.TroyerPerformance.com, in our Ignition section you will see that we have ignition upgrades for these systems.

The best thing to do would be to give us a call on this, as there are several different ways to go on the COP systems, only 1 of which is shown currently on our site & you'll want to know the details, results & costs of each, I'm sure, to make a proper decision. Our number is listed just below.

it was about burnt up,it had a BAD misfire in #2,i think it was mostly that the spring on the coil pack was loose, but the plug didn't look very good.i checked the coil pack and it's still good, but it still doesn't run like it should.thanks mike

I dont think anyone makes performance aftermarket coil packs for mod motors...as far as plugs, some of the best running plugs for Fords I have found are the Denso iridiums, I rum 20# of boost with a set of it-24s, which is too cold for you...what you need is a set of Denso it-20s, these plugs have a melting point of 2500 degrees, platinum is only 1800 degrees , the added heat makes them more durable and are supposed to last a long, long time...
