Fuel Filter tool
Mine wouldn't budge no matter what tool you put on it.
Most parts stores carry replacement ends. You need the one with 5/16 end and 5/16 hose. Cut the old one off near the filter end and replace. Not to hard of a job, just make sure when you fit the new line in that there are no kinks in the line. The kit doesn't come with clamps. I used 4, 2 on each side.
Even after I cut off the old fitting, I couldn't get it off the filter.

The last time I did this I didn't have the tool so I took my filter into a Midas and they charged me $50!!! for just the labor of it!!
They're excuse was all the work of having to release the pressure in the line to avoid getting fuel sprayed in there face!
Next time,,, gettin a tool!!

Is this the same tool that releases the Air conditioning lines? Also you guys need to release the fuel pressure from the line, before you pull the filter. Remove the gas cap for a second and reinstall. On the fuel rail there is a schrader valve. Place some rags around it and use a tire valve cap to press it down. Do not do this to a hot engine or smoke when you do this. Remove the rags immediatly so you won't forget them. Like the setup on my other Fords no tools needed!
