First off I'm sorry for making another blown plug page, but there are so many pages in the other one I was affraid what im about to say might get over looked. Here goes, this problem has me worried now I've got and 02 5.4 sport with a homemade "dry" N2O kit on it I formed from a few old parts of systems I've installed on my cars over the years. I know that almost every new car/truck has the slight ticking sound of the injectors open/closing. Well now I guess since im listening for it my brain is amplifing the ticking and everyday I notice it more and more. I guess im just wondering if this was a big issue in the 02 year run, or if everything seems to be prior to mid of 01. One thing for certain is the N2O usage has been cut way back, I would take it off all together but it still has to be dragstrip compliant, I.E. (N2O friendly) lol. One more thing, has anyone experianced a problem with the front seal on the P/S pump leaking, mine is just slightly but enough to get my attention. Oh and anyone looking for those few extra miles, I switched to using 5-30 Royal Purple and went from 255-320 Miles per tank, to 340-360 miles a tank, and I'm no lighter in the foot feed than before not to mention I still see the same gas savings running the A/C all the time now compared to getting less milage, as before the oil swap, with no a/c, or heat going.
